The BCTCares Foundation, operated by employees of BCT-Bank of Charles Town, raised an impressive $104,000 for its 2025 Pack the ‘Pack program, aimed at combating food insecurity among local children. Since its inception, the foundation has contributed over $509,000 to help local organizations in towns such as Charles Town, Ranson, and Harpers Ferry provide nutritious food to families. This year's campaign, supported by the community and local businesses, resulted in more than 11,000 backpacks being filled with essential weekend meals. BCTCares collaborates with various local nonprofits to ensure families receive the support they need during challenging times, reinforcing community bonds.
