Bee Line DAR Chapter Volunteers for Food Assistance Program
In an article published by The Journal, the Bee Line Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) celebrated their annual Day of Service by assisting Community Markets Inc. (CMI) with a food box giveaway in Charles Town, West Virginia. On the first Saturday of October, eleven DAR members gathered to prepare 150 grocery bags filled with essential food items for families in need, successfully distributing the majority of the bags during the event. This effort echoes DAR's dedication to service, supporting food-insecure families while promoting local agriculture and community engagement.
