Bee Line DAR Presents Historic Flag to Ranson City Hall in Ceremony
On November 8, The Journal reported that members of the Bee Line Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) gathered at Ranson City Hall to present an American flag to Mayor Keith 'Duke' Pierson. The ceremony featured DAR Flag Committee Chair Johanna Myers presenting the flag, which had flown over the DAR's National Headquarters in Washington, D.C., alongside a certificate from Chapter Regent Heidi Ware. Several other members of the Bee Line Chapter participated in the event, highlighting DAR's commitment to replacing worn flags with dignity.
