The 250th Anniversary of the Bee Line March Wreath Laying Ceremony took place at Elmwood Cemetery in Shepherdstown, honoring the legacy of Revolutionary War soldiers from Captain Hugh Stephenson’s Company of Riflemen. Organized by the Pack Horse Ford Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the event featured the presentation of colors by the NSSAR Color Guard and tributes from local historical organizations. Notable attendees included cadets from Jefferson High School's JROTC and descendants of the honored soldiers, highlighting the deep historical ties to the community and commitment to preserving local heritage.
