Following heavy snowfall in January and an additional expected 10 inches over President’s Day Weekend, local resorts such as Snowshoe Mountain and Winterplace are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. Marking this season as perfect for winter activities, Tom Wagner of the West Virginia Ski Areas Association highlighted the pristine conditions.
