Bonnie’s Bus, a mobile mammography center from the WVU Cancer Institute, will make stops in Ranson and nearby Berkeley Springs this March. Aimed at providing accessible mammograms, the 45-foot bus will be parked at Lancaster Circle on March 4, at the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department on March 5 and 6, and finally at the Morgan Senior Center on March 7. This initiative honors Bonnie Wells Wilson and addresses the pressing health professional shortages in West Virginia. The service has already provided over 30,400 screenings, emphasizing the ongoing need for accessible healthcare in towns such as Ranson and Berkeley Springs, as reported by The Journal.
