Herald-Mail Media reports that Bonnie’s Bus, a mobile mammography unit, will visit Ranson and Martinsburg, offering three-dimensional digital screening mammograms and breast care education for insured, uninsured, and underinsured women in the Eastern Panhandle. Appointments can be made by calling 304-260-1446, with the bus scheduled to stop at Ranson Square on March 4 and at the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department in Martinsburg on March 5 and 6. The initiative, which has provided over 33,000 mammograms since 2009, collaborates with local health organizations to help reduce breast cancer deaths in the area.
