Charles Town Commission Invites City to Discuss Washington Street Buildings
Jefferson County Commission sends letter to start discussions concerning Washington Street buildings

During a recent meeting, the Jefferson County Commission voted to reach out to Charles Town officials regarding the potential sale of the Washington Street buildings. This initiative arose from discussions between Commissioner Steve Stolipher and Mayor Michael George. Although the city currently has no plans to acquire the properties, the commission expressed their desire to offer the city first opportunity in an amicable invitation aimed at starting discussions about the future of these downtown buildings.
