Charles Town City Council asked to prepare to intervene in transmission path

In a recent meeting, the Charles Town City Council listened to local resident Mary Gee, who informed them about proposed transmission line routes that are set to impact the area significantly. These projects, designed to support data centers in Loudoun County, Virginia, include the approved Mid-Atlantic Resiliency Link and Valley Link, alongside a third proposal expected to be approved soon. The Council's preparation to intervene highlights residents' growing concerns over the alterations these infrastructure changes may bring to their communities.
