Inaugurating as West Virginia's governor, Patrick Morrisey received widespread support from residents, including families from Charles Town who attended the ceremony to witness history with their children. Attendees expressed hope that Morrisey will fulfill campaign promises related to education, job creation, and tax cuts. Kamden Perkins, a senior from Braxton County High School, shared his passion for politics. Supporters traveled from as far as Orlando, Florida, to celebrate the new administration's vision for the state, emphasizing the need for a focus on children’s education and faith in governance, reflective of community values.
