The incident, which took place around 3:22 p.m. on Rt. 7 near Bluemont, led to one adult male being transported with minor injuries, while two juveniles received on-site treatment. Authorities discovered the SUV driver, 49-year-old Thomas Allen Broomall from Charles Town, was intoxicated and charged with driving under the influence. The investigation is ongoing, with detectives urging anyone with information to contact them.
