The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a collision that occurred Wednesday involving a Loudoun Public School bus and an SUV. The incident, which took place around 3:22 p.m. on Rt. 7 near Bluemont, led to one adult male being transported with minor injuries, while two juveniles received on-site treatment. Authorities discovered the SUV driver, 49-year-old Thomas Allen Broomall from Charles Town, was intoxicated and charged with driving under the influence. The investigation is ongoing, with detectives urging anyone with information to contact them. This unfortunate event underscores the seriousness of impaired driving, impacting local families and community safety.
