Tonight, the Old Opera House Theatre Company in Charles Town kicks off the holiday season with a debut performance of Charles Dickens' classic 'A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley.' Directed by Steve Brewer, the production features a cast of 38, showcasing the transformative journey of Ebenezer Scrooge as he encounters four ghosts, including his former partner Jacob Marley. With local talent like Ashley Hall portraying the ghost of Christmas Past, this rendition promises to highlight the beauty of Dickens' prose while inviting the community to embrace hope and joy during the festive season.
