Curtis Edward Bailey, a fugitive linked to a targeted shooting on West Liberty Street in Charles Town, was arrested in Baltimore on Wednesday morning. In connection with the August 20 incident, where Bailey allegedly fired multiple shots into a vehicle, he faced charges including attempted murder and five counts of wanton endangerment. The victim, who was hospitalized, prompted collaborative efforts from various law enforcement agencies, including the Mountain State Fugitive Task Force, to apprehend Bailey. This incident raises concerns about public safety in the community, particularly as it relates to local residents and their safety near areas like West Liberty Street.
