The West Virginia Nursery & Landscape Association (WVNLA) has awarded $20,000 in scholarships to four dedicated students from West Virginia University (WVU), all majoring in Landscape Architecture. Among the recipients, Reagan Rowland and Cameron Mahar hail from Charles Town and have demonstrated a commitment to enhancing local landscapes through their studies and internships. The scholarships aim to support West Virginia residents pursuing careers in the nursery and landscape industry, ensuring the growth of this vital sector. The students will be honored during the WVNLA Winter Symposium scheduled for February 18, 2026, in Charleston, emphasizing the association's commitment to fostering local talent.
