Charles Town Utility Board Challenges West Virginia American Water

Public Service Commission hearing discusses territorial dispute between water utility providers

During a July 30 hearing led by Administrative Law Judge Keith George, the West Virginia Public Service Commission addressed a territorial dispute between the Charles Town Utility Board and West Virginia American Water. The conflict arose when CTUB alleged that WVAW was encroaching on its designated growth area for development located between Keyes Ferry Road and Old Country Club Road. This hearing reflects ongoing discussions about utility management and development in Charles Town.
