Charles Town Veterans Recognized with Quilts of Valor
In a recent ceremony in Charles Town, Rebecca Crawford and James Knott, honored as Unsung Heroes by The Journal, received Quilts of Valor from the Quilts of Valor Foundation. Unable to attend a November brunch where other veterans were celebrated, they met with foundation representatives to accept their quilts, which are crafted to provide comfort and healing to service members affected by war. Founded in 2003 by Catherine Roberts, the foundation aims to honor veterans through these meaningful gifts.
