The City of Charles Town recently conducted a town hall meeting to discuss potential enhancements to the three-way intersection of West Washington Street, MLK Jr. Boulevard, and Summit Point Road. With input from local residents, the City has enlisted a consulting engineer to evaluate a Preliminary Draft Design Study by the West Virginia Department of Transportation. Proposed solutions include a traffic signal, a roundabout, and various bypass routes.
