Forged business document lands Jefferson County woman with 2-10 years in prison

A woman from Charles Town has been sentenced to 2-10 years in prison after forging a West Virginia business registration document. Dana Marie Phillips was found guilty of attempting to use the fake document to open an account at Jefferson Security Bank in Martinsburg. The case was part of a larger multi-agency investigation announced by Secretary of State Kris Warner, highlighting the local efforts to combat fraud in the area.
