On Saturday, volunteers gathered at Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town to participate in Wreaths Across America, honoring military veterans. This annual effort, which began in 1992 with just 12 volunteers at Arlington National Cemetery, has grown significantly, with over 2.4 million wreaths placed at 3,136 locations nationwide last year.
