Goals Set for County Development and Legislation in Charles Town

Staff recommends 13 commission goals for 2025

In a recent workshop hosted by The Spirit of Jefferson, local officials, including county administrator Edwina Benites, outlined 13 priority goals for this year that include substantial developments such as acquiring the American Public University System building on Lawrence St. in Charles Town. The discussion also featured insights from Delegates Wayne Clark, Chris Anders, and Joe Funkhouser about how these objectives align with state legislation and serve the community's needs.
