The Spirit of Jefferson reports on two community events this weekend in Charles Town. A birdseed sale by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society will take place on Saturday at Sunny Meadows Garden Center, offering a variety of bird food while providing resources and volunteer assistance. On Sunday, residents can join the annual Martin Luther King walk, organized by the local NAACP chapter, beginning with a kickoff ceremony at the Charles Town Library that features notable speakers before a community march through downtown.
