Community Events: Concert, Consumer Outreach, and Bird Walks in Jefferson County
In the December 1, 2024 edition of The Journal, it was announced that the Jefferson County Community Chorus will hold a benefit concert titled 'Nourish More Neighbors' on December 15, 2024, to support Community Markets Inc., with a $5 donation requested at the door. Additionally, Attorney General Patrick Morrisey's office will be hosting mobile office events throughout December across various locations in the Eastern Panhandle, where residents can seek advice on consumer-related issues. The Potomac Valley Audubon Society is also organizing a bird walk event on December 7, inviting birdwatchers of all ages to explore local avian species at the USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center, with prior registration required due to limited spots available.
