Organized by local hair stylist Lynn Rogers, the gathering offered a platform for individuals to voice concerns and support one another. Attendees included those from as far away as Tennessee, highlighting widespread dissatisfaction with CPS practices, particularly regarding family separations and inadequate legal support. Rogers plans to host a follow-up event in June, aiming to create a safer environment for sharing experiences away from the courthouse, as many attendees expressed fear of retaliation.
