The Country Roads Angel Network (CRAN) recently held its annual meeting at the Bavarian Inn in Shepherdstown, emphasizing its mission to support local entrepreneurs through investment and mentoring. Since its establishment in 2019, CRAN has disbursed nearly $1.5 million to 11 start-ups, including innovative companies in Morgantown focused on technology and education. With 40 statewide members, CRAN aims to enhance economic development in the region, aligning with local efforts to foster entrepreneurship and community growth.
