Creative Writing Workshop Inspires Pleasant Community Members
On May 8, the Pleasant Community Educational Outreach Service gathered at Village Pizza for a meeting that featured pledges to the U.S. and West Virginia flags. Marcia Bennett led the meditations, and Elaine Matheny presented a lesson on creative writing, focusing on legacy building. This lesson, titled 'Echoes of the Past,' was authored by Amanda Johnson and Margaret Miltenberger, both associate professors at West Virginia University, and highlights the importance of creative expression in local communities.
