For over 34 years, Dickinson & Wait has been a cornerstone of downtown Shepherdstown, providing a platform for high-quality American craftsmanship. Owners Debbie Dickinson and Meredith Wait have fostered strong community ties and friendships with both local artists and customers while promoting the arts, especially in conjunction with the Contemporary American Theater Festival. Despite recent challenges due to the pandemic affecting the craft industry, they reflect on their rich history and success while preparing for retirement.
