According to The Journal, Dogwood General Store, which has been a fixture at 119 West German Street in Shepherdstown for two-and-a-half years, is relocating to 140 East German Street, as its current space is no longer available. Owner Mary Ball considered closing the business but opted for the new spot after learning that the previous owner of The Collective wanted to offer her space temporarily. The move aims to be completed by July 1, in time for the Contemporary American Theater Festival, ensuring the store continues to cater to both tourists and locals with essential items and unique finds.
