In a heartening turn for eagle enthusiasts in Shepherdstown, the NCTC nest successfully welcomes three new eaglets this season, following last year's unfortunate events. Fish and Wildlife Historian Dr. Mark Madison shared that the first eaglet broke through its shell early Thursday morning, with all three hatching by Monday. The online community, affectionately known as the 'Eagle Momsters,' has been actively following the developments via the Outdoor Channel's Eagle Cam, eagerly watching the mature father, Scout, who is now exhibiting more paternal behaviors, bringing food to the nest for Mama Bella and their young. This joyful news brings a sense of hope and excitement to the local community as they celebrate the return of these majestic birds.
