In Shepherdstown, this year's eaglet trio has brought joy to local eagle enthusiasts, following last year’s tragic collapse when the new father, Scout, lost his eaglets. Fish and Wildlife Historian Dr. Mark Madison reported that all three eggs at the NCTC nest have hatched successfully, with the first eaglet emerging on Thursday and the third making its appearance by Monday morning. The supportive online community, affectionately known as 'Eagle Momsters,' has been tracking the progress via the Outdoor Channel's Eagle Cam, celebrating the more paternal behavior of Scout as he brings food to their family. The excitement builds as local residents engage with this remarkable natural event, fostering a sense of community around the eagles.
