On Saturday, Shepherdstown hosted a series of vibrant Easter events, including a colorful Spring Parade and the much-anticipated Easter Egg Hunt organized by Amanda Farone. Families from the surrounding area gathered as children participated in groups based on age to seek over 3,000 eggs, ensuring every participant left with candy. Following the hunt, the Shepherdstown Easter Market showcased 35 local artisans, attracting visitors and boosting sales due to the increased foot traffic. The event, with roots in the community and previous organizers, fostered togetherness and celebration, exemplifying the spirit of this historic town.
