On Easter Sunday, members of St. John Lutheran, Camp Hill Wesley United Methodist, and St. John Episcopal churches gathered at Harper Cemetery in Harpers Ferry for a traditional sunrise service. Despite the clouds obscuring the view of the sunrise over the confluence of the Shenandoah and Potomac rivers, the event was filled with uplifting prayers and music, led by Pastor John Unger. He shared insights into the historical significance of Harpers Ferry during Civil War times, further enriching the worship experience attended by nearly 100 individuals.
