Experience Shepherdstown is hosting an art exhibit called 'Experience Appalachia' from September 5 to 28 at the Shepherdstown Welcome Center. This showcase of Appalachian culture coincides with the Appalachian Heritage Festival and Writers-in-Residence Week. Featuring handcrafted items like textiles and pottery, the exhibit encourages engagement with artists during an opening reception on September 5, where visitors can enjoy live music by Eldred Hill and Eddie Barney. This initiative supports local culture and community engagement in towns such as Shepherdstown and Ranson.
