Citizens Fire Company participates in Future of Fire Service discussion

On September 23, the Citizens Fire Company hosted a discussion led by the Jefferson County Commission to gather input from local fire safety professionals. Commissioner Mike Mood emphasized the importance of community feedback as part of a fire service study aimed at planning for the next two decades. This early-stage initiative seeks to enhance fire safety services through collaboration, contrasting with previous EMS studies, and aims to foster trust and informed decision-making among local fire departments within towns such as Charles Town and Ranson.
