A collection of 17 paintings by Garnet W. Jex, originally donated to Harpers Ferry in 1960, has returned to Camp Hill Wesley United Methodist Church after years of being exhibited in various locations. The paintings reflect Jex's fond memories of the area, showcasing local scenery and significant historical moments. Church members collaborated to ensure the artwork was hung in its original locations within the social hall, preserving its historical context. The board of trustees expressed gratitude for the restoration efforts by the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley, highlighting the community's dedication to preserving local art and history.
