At the annual Denim and Diamonds dinner hosted by the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, Steve Bettinger was honored with the 2025 Chuck Ellison Distinguished Citizen of the Year award for his transformative efforts in renovating the local Boys & Girls Club, enhancing safety and accessibility for children. Additionally, the newly established Snow Riders, which opened in Harpers Ferry in 2023, received the George E. Vickers Business of the Year award for attracting over 40,000 visitors during winter and creating numerous job opportunities.
