Harpers Ferry Candidates Engage Residents Ahead of Election

Residents question Harpers Ferry candidates who want to govern the town in June

In Harpers Ferry, candidates for key municipal positions, including mayor, recorder, and town council, participated in a candidate forum hosted by the Women’s Club. Among the 12 candidates were incumbent mayor Greg Vaughn, running against councilman Zachary Morse, and recorder candidates Paul Bullock and Kevin Carden. The event allowed residents to engage with candidates ahead of the June 10 election, which will fill various municipal offices, following Nina Armstrong's decision not to seek reelection. The competition also features several current council members and former officials, highlighting the vibrant local political landscape.
