Harpers Ferry Cemetery Tour and Local Events This June
The Journal reports on exciting upcoming events in and around Harpers Ferry and Inwood. A guided tour of historic graves at St. Peter’s Cemetery is scheduled for June 11, highlighting the area’s Civil War history and Irish Catholic heritage. Attendees can learn from certified guides about the interesting stories of those buried there. Inwood will also host a lunch gathering for retired Musselman High School staff on June 9. Additionally, State Treasurer Larry Pack recently recognized Overbrook Elementary School winners of the SMART529 essay contest, promoting educational aspirations and securing funds for the school’s robotics program.
