A tragic fire on Blackberry Lane in Harpers Ferry resulted in the deaths of a man and a woman, both believed to be family members. The fire, which occurred around 9 a.m. Tuesday, left three other family members injured, including Nicole Taylor, 54, who was airlifted to a hospital for severe burn injuries. Her two children, Christopher and Penelope Taylor, sustained minor injuries and were treated at Jefferson Medical Center. Ongoing investigations are being conducted by state police and fire authorities, with autopsies planned for the deceased.
