Rep. Riley Moore (R-WV) is introducing a bill to facilitate a land exchange between the National Park Service and U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Harpers Ferry. The proposed trade involves transferring 25 acres of currently unused NPS land to the Border Patrol in return for 72 acres of CBP property, helping to dismantle what Moore describes as 'the final barrier' to expanding the Advanced Training Center. This move is expected to significantly impact local training and development efforts in the area, further supporting the community's growth and security initiatives.
