Harpers Ferry Middle School recently organized a rewarding trip to Snow Riders for 15 dedicated students, recognizing their exemplary behavior and academic achievements. School counselor Judi Himelrick revived a popular initiative to encourage good character and performance among students. After a successful previous outing to a bowling alley, Himelrick sought a new adventure, leading to an exciting afternoon of snow tubing. The event fostered camaraderie among students and teachers, and many students expressed enthusiasm for future trips, showcasing an uptick in attendance and motivation at the school. Himelrick emphasized the importance of acknowledging students' efforts and building strong relationships outside the classroom, reflecting a commitment to educational enrichment and community engagement in Harpers Ferry.
