At a recent Donor Remembrance Service at Winchester Medical Center, held in honor of organ donors and recipients, Kelly Curtis shared the inspiring story of her son Tommy from Harpers Ferry, who donated his organs after his untimely death at 24. His donations saved the lives of six individuals, highlighting the profound impact of organ donation and encouraging community members to consider signing up as donors. The service, attended by around 50 people, underscored the importance of this act within local faith communities as part of National Donor Sabbath Weekend.
