On Wednesday, C.W. Shipley Elementary School in Harpers Ferry held its third annual Logan's LEGO Fair to honor the late Logan Kenney, a cherished student from the area who passed away in 2022 due to congenital heart disease. The event showcased 125 creative LEGO displays, bringing together students to raise funds for the American Heart Association, with a goal of $500 set for this year. The fair was inspired by Kenney's love for LEGO during his time at the school and took place close to his birthday, inviting his family to participate in the celebrations. The event not only provided entertainment but also served as an educational opportunity to discuss heart health in an age-appropriate way for students.
