The Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation seeks input on the master plan for Sweet Run State Park, located just north of Hillsboro. Residents are invited to a community meeting at the Between the Hills Community Center and a virtual meeting on March 26 to discuss the park's future. Opened in 2023, Sweet Run State Park spans nearly 900 acres, offering diverse recreational opportunities including hiking and equestrian trails, a fishing pond, and historical sites. Feedback from local park users will help shape the park's development.
