Dr. Norman Wetterau, a descendant of notable local figure Pearson Boyd Conn, has donated a historical bed frame once belonging to Conn to the Jefferson County Historical Association Museum. Constructed in the mid-1800s, the Renaissance Revival Style bed, along with its accompanying dresser and mirror, aims to enhance public interest in the area's rich history. Dennis Milko, the museum's president, expressed enthusiasm for sharing the bed's fascinating backstory, which connects visitors to the legacy of one of Steubenville’s significant publishers, further enriching local heritage narratives.
