Nonprofits reap benefits from Hollywood Casino

In a generous gesture, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races awarded significant financial contributions to local nonprofits, providing much-needed support during the holiday season. Among the six beneficiaries, the United Way of the Eastern Panhandle received $30,000, while the Boys and Girls Club earned $10,000. Other organizations, including the Children’s Home Society, CASA of the Eastern Panhandle, the American Cancer Society, and the Animal Welfare Society, also received funds, contributing to the casino's annual commitment of over $500,000 to community causes throughout the year, enhancing the charitable landscape in and around Charles Town.
