Organist James Newsome, affiliated with Trinity Episcopal Church in Shepherdstown and a doctoral student at Shenandoah Conservatory, will present a free community recital on August 24 at 2 p.m. This event showcases a variety of works performed on the historic George Stevens organ, crafted in 1869, highlighting the cultural offerings of the local community in Shepherdstown.
