For 42 years, Jefferson County Community Ministries in Charles Town has provided vital support services, including food, housing, and job assistance, to community members in need. Executive Director Keith Lowry reported a surge in requests, with over 5,500 clients seeking help last year. Notable achievements include clients securing permanent housing and employment. The organization is expanding its facilities in Ranson, incorporating a new medical clinic to better serve clients, and seeking funding to complete renovations.
