North Jefferson Elementary partners with PTA Parent Hub to highlight creative careers

North Jefferson Elementary School in Kearneysville teamed up with the Black Teacher Association's Parent Hub to host a Creative Career Assembly, showcasing creative professions to inspire young students. Principal Priscilla Rodd and Tanya Dallas, coordinator of At-Promise Student Programs, aimed to engage students with presenters such as sixth-grader Skylar Braylock and Washington High School entrepreneurs Jeremiah and Brayden Brown, who demonstrated their innovative garbage can cleaning business. The event highlighted the importance of creativity and encouraged students to envision their futures and think about how they can make a positive impact in their community, reinforcing the school's commitment to fostering talent and creativity among its students.
