In a recent incident reported by The Morgan Messenger, a 36-year-old man from Kearneysville has been charged with domestic battery, his third offense, following an assault in Paw Paw. On November 16, police responded to a 911 call and found the victim with severe injuries. Witnesses intervened to stop the assault, leading to the arrest of Aaron M. Carrie, who has a criminal history of similar charges in Morgan and Berkeley counties. He is currently held at Eastern Regional Jail on a $25,000 bond.
