A tragic motorcycle accident in Kearneysville claimed the life of 38-year-old Carnedose Heggs from Martinsburg. Responding officers and Fire/EMS found Heggs unresponsive after he lost control of his Kawasaki Ninja 500R while heading east on Route 115. Witnesses reported the motorcycle veered across the double yellow line, leading to the crash against a utility pole. Immediate investigation involved the Sheriff’s Office and local fire companies, which closed the roadway for two hours. The incident highlights ongoing safety concerns on local roads.
